I am draped across the planet

Belly down, limbs splayed, holding on as the watery orb

Spins through dark emptiness.

I ask, “Where am I?”

A breeze wakes my shoulders

A window appears at my back, shivers in its frame

Fights to keep the cold away, to keep me safe

Inside. Now inside

The simple room — dirt floor,

Rough wood and you standing before me.

Such a simple answer.
